Two more abducted students of Bethel Baptist secondary school, Chikun Local Government Area of kaduna State who were abducted by bandits earlier this month have regain freedom according to reports by Channels TV.
Bandits abducted 121 students of Bethel Baptist secondary school from their hostels on July, 8th, one already regained freedom last week based on health making three now out of 121 school pupils.
The abductors are demanding N60million random for the release of the kidnapped students. Meanwhile, the Nasir el-Rufai led state has a no random policy.
The bandits had earlier asked parents of kidnapped school children to send foodstuffs, to prevent the abductees to die of hunger.
However, Channels TV quotes Mohammed Jalige, spokesman of the kaduna state police command, saying; “they were rescued on Wednesday evening by police operatives in Rijanna area along kaduna Abuja highway”. He also said; “The two abducted students have been taken to police medical facility were they are undergoing Medical examination currently”.
